Gulf Coast Aeronautical Services regrets to announce the closure of its hanger & office at DeFuniak Springs Airport (54J), effective March 10th, 2023. However, the company will be relocating its business office back to Freeport, FL while maintaining its FAA Air Agency Certificate 1GUX090K in the state of Florida.

Despite the closure at the DeFuniak Springs Airport, Gulf Coast Aeronautical Services remains committed to serving local pilots in the Northwest Florida Area. The company is actively exploring alternative avenues to provide 14CFR§141 pilot training services within the local area, recognizing the importance of supporting the local community, especially pilots and military veterans.

Three positions have been successfully relocated to the state-of-the-art Training Center in Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, ensuring the continuation of high-quality training and services while expanding capabilities.

To improve efficiency, Gulf Coast Aeronautical Services is implementing an appointment-only system for its FAA Examiner Services in the local area. Clients can schedule appointments by contacting our Operations Manager at 1.800.588.9325 Ext 4. This change allows for effective resource management and timely services.
